Find out if the tattoo artist is skilled and experienced; a tattoo session will always go better with someone who knows what they are doing and will result in less pain. If the tattoo will be placed on a bone area, expect pain and deal with it. So, in conclusion, do your research, find the right choice of tattoo artist, the best body location for your pain tolerance and the with the right care, pain from getting a tattoo will be kept to a minimum.
