Presciption Tattoos to Help Diabetics Monitor Glucose Levels

The days of manual blood sugar testing may be fading.  Draper Laboratory is reportedly developing a “tattoo-like implant” that will monitor blood glucose levels.  Patients will be able to use a handheld device to “read” the luminescence levels of the tattoo instead of taking a direct reading from the blood.
